What is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy?
This evidence-based form of therapy is well established and widely used in Finland, but still relatively lesser known in Sweden. It is an effective approach that highlights your strengths, skills, and inner resources. It supports you in discovering your natural ability to handle challenges—and move toward a life with more joy and well-being.
Rather than getting stuck in the past in search of the root of the problem, the focus is on what is working now and what you want more of. This does not mean denying what is painful—difficulties are acknowledged, but then we turn our gaze forward. If the problem no longer existed, what would take its place? What could be your first step toward the desired shift?
Together, we explore possible paths by viewing your situation from multiple perspectives. As new insights emerge, it becomes easier to define direction, set meaningful goals, and create not only strategies for handling what is difficult—but also room for what brings purpose, energy, and creative flow.
